What is Reiki

Every living human, animal or plants being, emanate warmth and energy. This energy is defined as being that power which acts and lives in all created matters. It is the vital life energy which flows through all living beings.

Thousands of years ago the Tibetans already possessed a deep understanding of the nature of spirit, energy and matter, using this knowledge to heal their bodies, harmonize their souls and lead their spirits to an experience of unity. We come across this knowledge later again in India and find modified forms of it in the Japanese, Chinese, Egyptian, Greek and Roman cultures, just to mention a few.

The word Reiki means Universal Life Energy. Every being needs it to living, growing, developing and self-healing. The Energy surrounds us everywhere and feet our bodies, minds and spirits. Very receptive people often experience Reiki as love. Love is a uniting power which leads us forward to an even grater state of oneness with the whole of creation.

We were all born with Reiki gift and ability to take, keep and give this Energy easily. But in first years of life, because of containing emotions we block oneself for this Energy and it is flowing more slowly than before. We become more weak and unhealthy.

Reiki isn't a religion and doesn't belong to any of them. It is older than any religion system, because this energy is a power in itself and was existing from the begining

How it works?

Reiki doesn’t violate no one’s free will. If a patient reject the energy, then therapist cannot do anything more. The result of Reiki treatments is always in accordance with the Highest Goodness people involved in whole healing process.

Reiki can be used as an independent method of healing or with traditional medicine. It doesn’t collide with medicines or medicinal products, on the contrary it enhance them effect.

Because Reiki have an influence on whole human being and can heal every level of your being then you can never know what could happen during treatment and what result will become to your life. You can say for sure, this energy can influence on everyone only positive and beneficial way.

This Energy can influence on every level: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Healing the headache can get into and penetrate deeply every organ and level, which are responsible for coming up this ache. The reason it has appeared could be in wrong working digest system or emotional system, for example stress. Mental and spiritual matter could be a reason as well. Reiki can get absolutely everywhere and can help with every level of your being.

For example Reiki can set you free from headache, can speed up natural process of healing, can staunch bleeding, can balance and harmonize chakras and energetic human aura. Besides can regulate breathing and reduce a blood pressure, bring inner harmony and peace.

Reiki doesn’t flow from therapist aura, for it is not his own. The therapist is only a channel for this energy, which is flowing from the Source/ God/ Universe – however you call it.

Who can have a Reiki treatment?

Everybody can have a Reiki treatment. Not only people with any healthy problems but healthy people as well, who are looking for a way to charge their ‘battery’, who wants to make stronger their resistance, who want woke up their vitality power more, who needs peace, relax or just looking for one’s true and only life way.

Note! In more complicated situation/illness would be better to take a few Reiki sessions for better results.

Reiki Treatments

I. "Directly treatments" as you can guess are with physical patient presence.

Before starting doing session I have a few words with a patient about his fettle. I explain whole procedure and how it will look like. I answer for any doubts and questions as well.

If you don't mind I can play some relaxing and calming music. I can light some candles and incense too.

Full Reiki session:

A dressed patient lays down on his back on a massage table. The clothing should be casual to let you feel comfortable and relaxed and don't cramp your moves.
I will ask you for putting away your glasses or taking out your contact lenses if you wear them.
I will ask you for putting away your watch or jewellery.
Patient keeps closing eyes during whole treatment. Hands along the body, and legs just straight.
If I would like to use some stones during session then I always put them on the patient body exactly at this moment.
During treatment I work only on right-hand patient side.
Be ready for this that I will put my hands on your body in many different places, to do energetic massage.
First I put my hand on your shoulder or right hand, then I do massage alone your body to your foot.
The patient lays down on his stomach and I continue the treatment from the head to the foot.
When the treatment is already finished I always say: "Thank you", that's the sign you can open your eyes and get up. But it's better for you if you will stay still a few minutes more.
The full treatment takes about 1-1,5 hour.
After therapy I talk to my patient about his feelings during and after treatment. I answer for any doubts and questions.

II. Short directly treatment is almost the same like full one. The biggest different is:
- during whole session the patient is sitting on the chair
- it takes about 30-40 minutes.

III. Treatment from distance is characterized by that I do it without personally patient presence. The treatments like for the past or future are possible only because the Energy has no limits of time, place or space. So yes, it's really possible an energy transfer for any intention, time and place.
This kind of practice takes about 30 - 45 min.
